Question: What is bottom bracket, and what are the types and standards.
Answer: The bottom bracket on a bike connects the crankset (chainset) to the bike and allows the crankset to rotate freely. There are so many different types and standards of the bottom brackets in the market and we have summaries the most common ones for your reference.

Question:Any BBright adapter for 24mm spindle cranks, such as Shimano and FSA?
Answer: Yes, the AITA BBright Shimano ceramic bottom bracket will do the job. Instead of an adapter, this bottom bracket is an integrated unit with both side bearings outside of the BBright frame which provides the direct support to the crank arms as same structure as the Shimano's. Hence it makes the system works as close as the Shimano's 24mm system.

Question: Can a EVO386 30mm crank runs on a BB86 frame?
Answer:Yes, it can be done with a AITA BB8630 ceramic bottom bracket. BB86 frame is designed for a 24mm spindle crankset, while EVO386 is a 30mm spindle crank. In order to host a larger diameter cranks into a BB86 shell, AITA has developed this 4 bearing conversion bottom bracket. Compared with the other's 2 bearing system, the 4 bearing system could distribute the power evenly within the bottom bracket, which reduces the wear on the bearings and ensures the full performance after the conversion.
